Common netball injuries
The quick fire change in direction, awkward landings, twisting and tripping mean netballers are prone to knee and ankle injuries. With the rapid passing and catching of the ball finger injuries are also quite common. A list of common injuries are:

SWith all high energy sports a thorough warm up and cool down period is always recommended. With a fast paced sport the correct footwear is imperative to offer the greatest support and traction with the ground.
Specific strength and conditioning training will also help to strengthen problem areas. Pilates is excellent for strength and conditioning and suppleness. Kinesiology taping can also help reduce risk where there may underlying problems or weaknesses.
