Common golf injuries

Golfers Elbow

Golfers Elbow

Like in many sports, injuries come about through either overuse or poor technique. Those who find themselves taking divots out regularly may find they can struggle with golfers elbow. The repetitive nature of the game can cause issues and poor swing technique may cause you back problems.

Prevention of golf injuries

Many of the injuries come about through poor technique so, as they say, practice makes perfect but also reduces pain.

Trunk rotation activation and isometric stabilisation control will help reduce back problems. The spine requires high quality movement pattern control during the swing phase. This allows for optimal performance of force transfer. Strength and conditioning can develop a stronger more efficient golf swing. Combine the strength and conditioning with skilled technical guidance for reduction in injury risk.
